Introductions

[Fabricio Zuardi]

Please take a moment to introduce yourself to the others here, just a couple of lines is ok, describe how you are related to the city/country, the office or the idea (or anything else), and what you expect from this community.

Let me start, I am Fabricio, I work for Ning.com and I am a permanent resident here at the office, I can tell you this is a nice space and now that we have the most important item (internet) set things will takeoff soon. Sao Carlos is the city were I graduated, and to where I am currently moving myself to live again (after a great season in Palo Alto, CA, USA).

The list of my current interests (they keep changing), includes video experiments, folk programming, open source software, music (live performances, distribution, promotion, artists support, and collaborative authoring), video games(we need a ps3 here) and the regular slashdot agenda in general :)

I expect to help in making this place a cool and interesting brazilian geek-hub, where we can gather to brainstorm (the white boards are on the way), have fun and get stuff done :)

BTW: Portuguese is ok here on the forums, feel free to use whatever language you are comfortable with, the website and this message are in English only to flag we are an international group, and everyone is welcome.

This is Marcio, some friends call me taboca, I work for Mozilla from Sao Carlos as technology evangelist and community development. I expect to use our coWork space to gather Mozilla folks, and also to learn about opportunities in Brasil space. In addition, I wish I can explore new ideas with Fabricio's Ning network and contributors willing to jump in to brainstorm. Whiteboard is a plus for the shared the open things, so we need to get that going soon, I hope we can also broadcast some once or twice a month some videos on cool things that can fit in shared mode, and open to the public, things that may be important for the companies we work, and the future of the Web.

Olá!

Sou Cadu, nasci em SP, mas moro no RJ há 19 anos. Estudo Engenharia de Produção, tenho uma pequena empresa de desenvolvimento web chamada Blue Factory, mas atualmente trabalho para a Dash Technologies em projetos para a Globo.com, principalmente.

Estou com um projeto de abertura de um espaço de coworking aqui no RJ e criei a comunidade Coworking Brasil com o propósito de ajudar disseminar o conceito aqui no Brasil.

Sempre apoiei a idéia do trabalho colaborativo e acredito que o coworking é só o começo. Planejo conhecer outros espaços pelo Brasil, não apenas pelo interesse na idéia, mas também para conhecer as pessoas e ver o que andam aprontando por aí.

Espero poder contribuir por aqui com as coisas que tenho aprendido sobre o assunto e com as coisas que aprendi ao longo de minha pessoal e profissional.
